Connexions centre to host adult
careers advice open day
Guideline Career Services, Connexions
Nottinghamshire’s sister company, provides FREE advice to
adults (aged 20+) about work, education and training and
will be holding a careers advice open day on Wednesday
January 28 for adults in Nottingham City who are thinking
about changing careers, looking for jobs or wondering what options
there are for learning.
The open day will take place at Connexions Nottinghamshire’s
Nottingham city centre, on Carlton Street, Hockley. The day will
run from 10am to 7pm.
With the UK’s economic future
uncertain, it's important that Nottingham City residents
ensure their CV is up-to-date and that they are aware of current
available job and training opportunities.
At this time, it’s imperative that people searching for work and
training have that extra competitive edge. This is where the

All adults attending the open day will also be entered into a free

runs weekly job search/ CV workshops and drop in advice sessions
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 9.30 - 4.30, Wednesdays 10.00 - 4.30
and Fridays 9.30 - 4.00.
