Mansfield Apprenticeship Information Day

Apprentice hopefuls from Mansfield and surrounding areas are invited to attend the Mansfield Connexions Apprenticeship day on Tuesday 16th February 2010.

The event is designed to encourage young people interested in taking up an Apprenticeship to take that first step and come along and see what opportunities are on offer in the area.

The event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, will take place at the Mansfield Connexions centre at 30-32 Regent Street in the town.  

Connexions Personal Adviser and organiser of the event, Karen Lancaster, says: “It’s an open house. Any young person in the Mansfield area who is interested in an Apprenticeship can pop in and talk to a training provider about opportunities. Personal Advisers will also be available for help with applying for jobs and training places.”

Connexions Opportunities team will also have a stand and will be available to talk about job and training opportunities available throughout Nottinghamshire. Young people can also get help with searching Connexions job vacancy site, Vacancies Online, which has 100s of job and training opportunities through Nottinghamshire.
