Nottinghamshire Learning Centre
Connexions Personal Advisers
Nottinghamshire
Learning Centre Connexions Personal Advisers work with young
people who are permanently excluded from school and young people
who are referred to Alternative to Exclusion/Pupil Placement
Panels. The Connexions Personal Adviser will support a young
person while they are out of school and during the ‘settling in
period’ when they are admitted into a new school. The purpose
of these Advisers is to help a young person cope with the
transition and to assist schools in understanding the specific
needs of a young person who has been excluded.
